World Breastfeeding Week 2024
Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding Support for All.”
This theme underscores our commitment to ensuring that every mother, regardless of her circumstances, has access to the support and resources she needs to successfully breastfeed. We encourage everyone to continue working along these lines, advocating for policies, practices, and environments that protect, promote, and support breastfeeding throughout Kenya.

We were thrilled to welcome 350 enthusiastic participants, all united in their commitment to promoting breastfeeding and maternal health. Though we aimed for 500 registrations, the turnout was still fantastic, and we appreciate everyone who joined us.
Medals and Recognition
Each participant received a medal for their efforts, with extra medals available for sale to support CAMFEB initiatives. The medals were priced at Shs2,000 per participant.
Lactation Pod Launch
A highlight of the event was the launch of our new lactation pod. Designed to support working mothers, this pod provides a comfortable and private space for breastfeeding and expressing milk. Participants had the opportunity to interact with the pod and provide valuable feedback.
