Building Systems That Support Breastfeeding at Work and Beyond
CAMFEB is driving a national movement to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding, ensuring that every mother has the systems, spaces, and support she needs to succeed.
CAMFEB (Career Mothers for Exclusive Breastfeeding) is a national advocacy and implementation organization focused on improving exclusive breastfeeding outcomes by addressing systemic barriers faced by working mothers.
We operate in alignment with Kenya’s Ministry of Health under the Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) framework, and we actively contribute to strengthening workplace breastfeeding support systems in line with national policies, including the Health Act 2017 (Section 71).

At Career Mothers for Exclusive Breastfeeding (CAMFEB), we recognize that one of the greatest barriers to exclusive breastfeeding is not knowledge, but infrastructure. As more women return to work shortly after childbirth, the absence of safe, private, and hygienic lactation spaces forces many to prematurely stop breastfeeding.
