CAMFEB is driving a national movement to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding, ensuring that every mother has the systems, spaces, and support she needs to succeed
Career Mothers for Exclusive Breastfeeding (CAMFEB) is a Kenyan-based organization committed to advancing breastfeeding support across workplaces, communities, and public spaces. We work at the intersection of policy, advocacy, innovation, and implementation to ensure that breastfeeding is not just encouraged but made possible.We believe breastfeeding should be supported anywhere and anytime, and that no mother should have to choose between her career and her child’s health.
Who We Are
CAMFEB (Career Mothers for Exclusive Breastfeeding) is a national advocacy and implementation organization focused on improving exclusive breastfeeding outcomes by addressing systemic barriers faced by working mothers.
We operate in alignment with Kenya’s Ministry of Health under the Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) framework, and we actively contribute to strengthening workplace breastfeeding support systems in line with national policies, including the Health Act 2017 (Section 71).
Our work spans:

- Infrastructure development (lactation spaces and pods)
- Community mobilization
